Gyrus Capital Acquires LRE Medical

Gyrus Capital, a Geneva-based investment firm, has acquired LRE Medical, a Germany-headquartered maker of complex diagnostic devices and analytical instruments, from AIS Global (previously a KPS-backed business). LRE Medical (founded 1961) operates two sites in Germany with more than 250 employees; the transaction—a carve-out/buyout—closed in August 2023 and is intended to accelerate growth in point-of-care diagnostics.
