Kadant Inc. completed the acquisition of KWS Manufacturing Company, Ltd. for approximately $84 million in cash, financed primarily through borrowings under Kadant's revolving credit facility. KWS, based in Burleson, Texas, is a manufacturer of screw conveyors, screw feeders, slide gates, and bucket elevators serving food, chemical, and wood process industries; it has about 165 employees and reported $45 million in trailing twelve‑month revenue. The business will join Kadant's Material Handling reporting segment to expand product portfolios and internal capabilities.

Quanta Services completed the acquisition of Dynamic Systems (DSI), a turnkey mechanical, plumbing and process infrastructure solutions provider headquartered in Austin, Texas. The transaction, which closed July 25, 2025, expands Quanta's mechanical construction and off-site fabrication capabilities, adds a ~2,400-employee platform and diversified end-market exposure (technology/semiconductor, healthcare, industrial) and was funded with cash and Quanta stock (approximately $1.35 billion upfront plus potential earnout).

Daikin Applied Acquires Dynamic Controls Inc.

Eddyfi/NDT Acquires Dynamic Risk Assessment Systems

Eddyfi/NDT has acquired Calgary-based Dynamic Risk Assessment Systems Inc., a provider of integrity risk management services and pipeline systems modeling software for the energy sector. Dynamic Risk (115 employees) will remain a separate entity and become Eddyfi/NDT’s fourth platform and business unit; the deal was partly financed by a bank syndicate led by National Bank of Canada with support from Investissement Québec.
