48forty Solutions, a portfolio company of Audax Private Equity, has acquired Industrial Pallet, a wooden pallet provider and recycler based in Eastford, Connecticut. The acquisition expands 48forty's footprint in the Northeast and is the sixth add-on since Audax's investment in 48forty in November 2020; terms were not disclosed.

UFP Industries Acquires PalletOne

UFP Industries, through its subsidiary UFP Industrial, LLC, acquired 100% of PalletOne, Inc. for approximately $232 million, with PalletOne's management team (including President Howe Wallace) remaining in place. The acquisition expands UFP's industrial packaging and pressure-treated lumber capabilities, adding PalletOne's 17 manufacturing locations (22 total sites across affiliates), Sunbelt Forest Products and SunOne Logistics, and more than 1,500 employees.

(developer of the Pallet-Track Suite). The deal (terms undisclosed) is an add-on acquisition to integrate and further invest in IDS's pallet-tracking and inventory software to expand 48forty's technology capabilities for customers and the broader pallet industry.

Integrated Power Services (IPS), a Greenville, South Carolina–based provider of power management and electromechanical services, has acquired Surplec, a Sherbrooke, Quebec–headquartered specialist in remanufacturing and managing surplus medium- and high-voltage transformers. The deal adds transformer remanufacturing, repair, rental and high‑voltage testing capabilities to IPS’s Canadian footprint and expands service coverage across Quebec, Ontario and Alberta.
