Massman Companies Acquires Ultra Packaging

Massman Companies, a packaging machinery manufacturer based in Villard, Minnesota, has acquired Ultra Packaging Inc., a Chicago-based designer of vertical and horizontal automated cartoning machines. Granite Partners assisted Massman in the transaction; the acquisition expands Massman's product portfolio to offer full-line packaging solutions including cartoning, shrink wrapping, and case packing.

Alco Acquires Manth-Brownell

Alco Manufacturing Corporation, a portfolio company of MiddleGround Capital, has acquired Manth-Brownell, a 60-year-old precision machine parts manufacturer based in Kirkville, New York. The add-on expands Alco's machining capabilities (adding over 100 multi-spindle screw machines and 50 CNC machines), broadens its customer base across aerospace, fluid power and industrial end markets, and strengthens scale and purchasing power.

Fulton Asset Management Acquires AFCO Industries

Fulton Asset Management, a family-backed investment platform based in Chicago, has acquired AFCO Industries, Inc., a vertically integrated U.S. manufacturer of aluminum, fiberglass, vinyl, and composite building products and a provider of CNC metal fabrication and contract manufacturing services headquartered in Alexandria, Louisiana. AFCO's existing leadership will remain in place; Fulton said the deal expands its industrial portfolio and reflects a long-term commitment to U.S. manufacturing.

Imperial Dade Acquires Columbus Paper Company (COPACO)
