albelli and Photobox merge to create leading European photo products & gifting business

albelli (owned by Gilde Buy Out Partners) and Photobox (owned by Exponent Private Equity) have merged to form a combined online European photo products and gifting business serving over 7 million customers. The combined group brings together c. 1,150 employees across multiple European countries and will retain existing consumer brands while pursuing scale, streamlined supply chains and accelerated product and mobile app initiatives.
