The acquisition expands EquipNet’s capabilities and vertical offerings by adding regulatory compliance and validation services to its surplus asset management and asset disposition platform.

Houston-based private equity firm Pelican Energy Partners has acquired United Services Group, a Charlotte-based full-service welding, machining, and fabrication contractor serving utilities and power generators. The deal expands Pelican's portfolio in the energy services sector and will support USG's continued growth across nuclear, fossil, natural gas, solar, and petrochemical markets.

Platinum Equity Acquires United Site Services

The transaction, which closed June 16, 2023, is an add-on to MES’s platform to expand its product and service footprint in the Indianapolis market and integrate key personnel from U.S. Uniform & Supply.

Acme United Corporation Acquires Assets of Elite First Aid

Allied Universal (MSA Security) Acquires Elite Tactical Security Solutions

Allied Universal, through its MSA Security business, has acquired Elite Tactical Security Solutions to expand its security and canine-detection capabilities in the Las Vegas market. Elite Tactical’s 40 security professionals and 10 canine detection teams — along with an ATF-licensed canine training center in Henderson, Nevada — will be integrated into Allied Universal/MSA Security operations to support hospitality, events and commercial venue clients.
