Chicago Switchboard, Inc. has acquired CES Industrial, LLC in a transaction advised by FOCUS Investment Banking. The acquisition expands Chicago Switchboard's product offerings across low- to high-voltage equipment and extends both companies' geographic reach to better serve process, packaging and OEM customers; CES owners Steve Wookey and John Silva selected Chicago Switchboard as the buyer.

Loenbro LLC Acquires Switch Electric Inc.

Loenbro LLC, a Tailwind Capital-backed industrial services platform, has acquired Switch Electric Inc., a Phoenix-based electrical contractor specializing in mission-critical data center construction and maintenance. Switch Electric's founder and CEO John Fleury will remain as president of the Switch Electric subsidiary to lead data center contracting operations nationally; the deal is an add-on acquisition to Loenbro's platform to expand data center electrical capabilities and geographic coverage.

Chicago Switchboard Acquires IER Electrical Equipment and Controls

Chicago Switchboard, a portfolio company of Promise Holdings, acquired IER Electrical Equipment and Controls, a Houston-based manufacturer of custom electrical distribution and motor control solutions. Gemspring Capital (via its GGS I vehicle) made a strategic minority investment in Chicago Switchboard to support the add-on acquisition, which provides Chicago Switchboard a foothold in the Texas market; founder Mike Wolf sold the business.

Bailey International Acquires Industrial Electronic Controls (IEC)

Creation Technologies Acquires Computrol, Inc.

Creation Technologies acquired Computrol, Inc., expanding its U.S. manufacturing footprint with additional facilities in Meridian, Idaho and Westminster, Colorado. The deal adds seven automated SMT lines and over 100,000 square feet of production space, strengthening Creation's medium-volume, high-reliability capabilities for Aerospace & Defense, Medical, and Tech Industrial customers and establishing a New Product Realization Center in Westminster, CO.

Power Grid Components Acquires Royal Switchgear Manufacturing

Power Grid Components, a platform formed by Shorehill Capital and industry veteran Rick McClure, completed the acquisition of Royal Switchgear Manufacturing Company, Inc. in December 2019. The deal expands Power Grid's product offering into high-voltage switchgear and power connectors; Joe Carton became President of Royal and joined Power Grid's board. Financing was provided by Antares Capital, Maranon Capital and Fidus Investment Corporation.
