Cyderes has acquired Ipseity Security, a Toronto-based identity and access management (IAM) specialist; financial terms were not disclosed. The deal expands Cyderes' IAM capabilities and global engineering bench, combining Ipseity's team with Cyderes' existing IAM practice to deliver expanded cloud identity, access governance, and privileged access management services.

Lucid Sight Acquires Colyseus Game Engine

Los Angeles-based game studio Lucid Sight has acquired the open-source multiplayer game engine Colyseus and will take over the Colyseus brand, GitHub repo, and community channels. Colyseus creator Endel Dreyer will join Lucid Sight as the studio launches a cloud-hosted service called Colyseus Arena to support developers and offer managed hosting for multiplayer games.

ICG Acquires Lucid Group from LDC

Alternative asset manager ICG has acquired London-headquartered healthcare communications specialist Lucid Group from mid-market private equity firm LDC. Lucid, which employs around 250 staff and provides medical education, strategic consultancy and digital services to pharmaceutical clients, was backed by LDC since 2017 and grew revenues from about £12m to over £29m during the partnership.

Umbrella Network Acquires Lucidity (Blockchain Advertising Oracle)

Umbrella Network, a community-owned Layer-2 oracle solution, acquired Lucidity — a blockchain-based digital advertising and analytics platform — in August 2021. The deal (undisclosed) brings Lucidity’s advertising transparency and analytics capabilities (it had processed over 600 million transactions) into Umbrella’s oracle ecosystem to expand data capabilities and scale transaction volume.
