Symphony Technology Group (STG), a Palo Alto-based private equity firm, has acquired CommPartners, a Columbia, Maryland-based SaaS learning management system (LMS) and virtual events provider serving the association market. The deal is STG's fourth investment into its integrated learning and events platform (following CadmiumCD, EthosCE, and Warpwire) and will fold CommPartners into a new unified education and events platform to expand capabilities for continuing education, virtual/hybrid events and content management.
