Obsequio Group has acquired Portishead-based Brunel Fire & Security, expanding its capabilities in security and fire safety services. The purchase strengthens Obsequio's buy-and-build strategy by adding access control, intruder alarm, CCTV and fire detection expertise and broadens its presence in the defence and facilities management sectors.

Warren Equity Partners has acquired Obsequio Group from Beech Tree Private Equity, with financial terms not disclosed. Obsequio, a Leicester‑headquartered provider of fire safety, water hygiene, security, asbestos and environmental compliance services employing over 630 staff and generating over £70m in revenue, will remain led by founders Simon Abley and Simon Cashmore and is announcing two add‑on acquisitions — Atlas World (Belfast) and PLP Fire Protection (Chatham) — as part of the new investment.
