Cloudflare Acquires Vectrix

Cloudflare has acquired Vectrix, a provider of API-driven cloud access security broker (CASB) technology, to add SaaS application visibility and control to its Cloudflare One Zero Trust platform. The acquisition extends Cloudflare's Zero Trust capabilities by enabling security teams to scan third-party SaaS tools (e.g., Google Workspace, GitHub, AWS) to detect misconfigurations, inappropriate file sharing, and unauthorized access.

SonicWall Acquires Banyan Security

The acquisition adds Banyan's cloud-native zero trust and ZTNA capabilities to SonicWall's portfolio to accelerate its SASE/SSE offerings and extend cloud-based secure access for customers and partners.

Cloudflare Acquires Area 1 Security

Cloudflare agreed to acquire Area 1 Security for approximately $162 million to integrate Area 1’s email security and anti-phishing technology into Cloudflare’s Zero Trust platform. The deal (part stock, part cash) was announced in February 2022 and Cloudflare later completed the acquisition, bringing Area 1’s phishing protection and threat intelligence into its suite of Zero Trust offerings.

Cloudflare Acquires S2 Systems Corporation

The acquisition (terms undisclosed) strengthens CSA/FluidOne's cyber capabilities—adding penetration testing, red teaming and incident response expertise—and expands its managed security service offering to enterprise and public-sector customers.
