Rinchem Company, LLC has announced a combination with Dupré Logistics, L.L.C., bringing Dupré’s regional transportation, private fleet and capacity brokerage capabilities into Rinchem’s global chemical and gas logistics platform. The transaction is accompanied by a new-money financing package that includes approximately $100 million of lender investment and amendments to Rinchem’s existing credit facilities; financial terms for the combination were not disclosed.

Peak Rock Capital Affiliate Acquires Rochester Midland Corporation

An affiliate of Peak Rock Capital has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Rochester Midland Corporation, a 135-year-old specialty chemical supplier headquartered in Rochester, New York. Peak Rock will partner with the Calkins family and RMC management to accelerate growth, pursue complementary acquisitions, and expand the company’s production, geographic footprint, and service offerings.

Stonepeak Acquires Stake in Dupré Logistics

Stonepeak has partnered with Dupré Logistics, a Lafayette, Louisiana-based transportation company that operates more than 700 trucks and 1,000 professional drivers, to invest in and grow Dupré's nationwide energy distribution, private fleet and brokerage services. The Dupré family will remain shareholders and Stonepeak has appointed Chris Sower as interim CEO to support the company's next phase of growth; terms were not disclosed.

Stonepeak, a New York-based alternative investment firm, has acquired Fleet Companies, a regional trailer dealership and leasing company headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee. Fleet will serve as the seed asset for a national trailer platform Stonepeak plans to build across the U.S.; terms were not disclosed and the deal has closed.

Rochester Midland Acquires the Norkem Group

Rochester Midland Corporation, a Peak Rock-backed provider of route-based technical services and specialty chemical products, has acquired Norkem Inc., Jacklyn Industries Inc., and Solutions Water Management Inc. (the Norkem Group), a Canadian commercial and industrial water treatment services provider based in Ontario. The deal expands Rochester Midland's technical service capabilities and coverage in Canada.

Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners Acquires TRAC Intermodal

Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners has signed a binding agreement to acquire TRAC Intermodal from investment funds managed by an affiliate of Fortress Investment Group LLC. The purchase gives Stonepeak a leading intermodal infrastructure platform—TRAC will keep its existing management team and continue operating its nationwide chassis fleet and service businesses under the new sponsor.
