North Hudson Resource Partners LP, alongside LOGOS management, acquired LOGOS Resources II, LLC from affiliates of ArcLight Capital Partners for approximately $402 million. The acquisition gives North Hudson control of LOGOS' ~230,000+ net acres and current production (~106 MMcfe/d), positioning the buyer to accelerate development of Mancos Shale and Gallup reserves and increase production.

EOG Resources Acquires Encino Acquisition Partners

EOG Resources agreed to acquire Encino Acquisition Partners (EAP) from the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board and Encino Energy for $5.6 billion, a deal expected to close in the second half of 2025. The purchase adds roughly 675,000 net acres and more than 1,000 producing wells in the Utica/Point Pleasant shale, expanding EOG’s footprint to about 1.1 million net acres in the play and creating a third foundational asset alongside its Delaware Basin and Eagle Ford positions.

CNX Resources Corporation closed the acquisition of the natural gas upstream and associated midstream business of Apex Energy II, LLC, a portfolio company of funds managed by Carnelian Energy Capital Management, for approximately $505 million (effective Oct. 1, 2024). The bolt-on expands CNX's Marcellus and Utica leasehold in the Appalachian Basin (~36,000 net acres, including significant undeveloped Utica and Marcellus acreage) and adds existing midstream infrastructure expected to be immediately accretive to free cash flow.
