SCIO Automation Acquires Fabmatics GmbH

Fabmatics, a Dresden-based specialist in material-flow and handling automation for semiconductor cleanrooms, will strengthen SCIO’s cleanroom/intralogistics capabilities and support the group’s global expansion. The transaction is an add-on to SCIO’s automation platform, which is PE-backed by Quadriga Capital.

Advent International to Acquire Automic Group

The small business (four employees; about USD 70,000 revenue in 2021) will become part of Atlas Copco's Semiconductor division within the Vacuum Technique business area to strengthen vacuum and abatement uptime and sustainability; purchase price was not disclosed.
