Blue Wolf Capital Partners, in partnership with Stonepeak, has completed the acquisition of Montreal-based LOGISTEC Corporation for approximately C$1.2 billion, taking the company private. Blue Wolf has committed to keep LOGISTEC's head office in Québec and plans more than C$200 million in capital expenditures and growth initiatives to expand the marine terminal and environmental services business.

PLS Logistics Services Acquires D&L Transport

PLS Logistics Services, a technology-driven third-party logistics provider based in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, has acquired D&L Transport, a freight brokerage headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas. D&L will operate as an independent subsidiary with Brian DeFrain remaining president, and PLS expects the transaction to increase its annual revenue run rate to $950 million (with a projected ~$1.2 billion in 2022).

LOGISTEC to Acquire 100% of IPA Terminal at the Port of Altamira, Mexico

LOGISTEC entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of IPA Terminal (IPA, ATEMSA, SMA, STEEL) at the Port of Altamira, Mexico. The deal is intended to expand LOGISTEC’s presence to Latin America and add a breakbulk and steel handling facility to its marine terminal network. Closing is subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals from Mexico’s antitrust authority and relevant port authorities and Navy.

The acquisition expands the JV's U.S. port and terminal footprint (complementing prior purchases of Carolina Marine Terminal and Nassau Terminals), and is intended to enhance service capabilities and realize synergies across the partners' port and terminal network.

Dupré Logistics Acquires Interstate Transport, Inc.
