Mallard will operate as a distinct platform within the MacLean-Fogg organization with its current leadership retained as MacLean-Fogg expands its manufacturing portfolio and capabilities in material-handling and warehouse solutions.

Fogco Acquires Snap-Fan Solar National Air Propulsion

Fogco, a Chandler, Arizona manufacturer of high-pressure fog and misting systems, has acquired Snap-Fan Solar National Air Propulsion, a maker of energy-efficient and solar-powered ventilation equipment for commercial, residential and horticulture markets. The acquisition expands Fogco's product capabilities in ventilation and horticulture-focused airflow solutions and brings Snap-Fan's founder Lucien Eddisford into the Fogco team.

NovaSource Acquires First Solar's North American O&M Business

NovaSource Power Services (a Clairvest-backed platform) completed the acquisition of First Solar’s North American operations & maintenance business (First Solar Energy Services), making NovaSource the largest solar O&M provider globally. Clairvest provided incremental equity to support the deal; the transaction transfers First Solar’s North American O&M operations to NovaSource to deepen O&M capabilities across utility, commercial, industrial and residential solar assets.

Babcock & Wilcox Acquires Majority Stake in Fosler Construction (Fosler Solar)

Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises, Inc. signed a definitive agreement to acquire a majority ownership stake in Illinois-based solar contractor Fosler Construction (now operating as Fosler Solar), which will become part of B&W's Renewable segment. Paul Fosler will remain CEO and a minority owner; Fosler provides commercial, industrial and utility-scale solar services, employs ~120 people and owns two community solar projects in Illinois.

AMS Renewable Energy Acquires Collective Solar (NY)

The deal brings Collective Solar’s ~160 MW of construction experience and an in‑house civil and electrical construction platform to AMS, accelerating AMS’s ability to scale EPC services across the Northeast and Mid‑Atlantic.

MacLean-Fogg Acquires Formetrix Assets to Launch MacLean Additive

MacLean-Fogg Component Solutions (a division of MacLean-Fogg Company) has acquired the assets of Formetrix, LLC, including a market-leading metal powder intellectual property portfolio. The deal establishes a new business unit, MacLean Additive, based in Macomb Township, Michigan, to scale Formetrix's high-performance steel alloys for automotive, EV, industrial and tooling markets.
