Marsh McLennan Agency Acquires Querbes & Nelson and Louisiana Companies

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) signed agreements to acquire two Louisiana-based insurance agencies — Querbes & Nelson (Shreveport) and Louisiana Companies (Baton Rouge) — doubling MMA's presence in the state. Employees and co-owners of the acquired firms will join MMA; the transactions are expected to close by the end of Q1 2024. Terms were not disclosed.
