Casella Waste Systems Acquires Mountain State Waste

Casella Waste Systems is acquiring Mountain State Waste to expand Casella’s operations into additional regions of West Virginia, Ohio, and Kentucky and to strengthen its existing footprint in Pennsylvania. The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter pending regulatory approvals and is expected to generate approximately $30 million of annualized revenues.

Casella Waste Systems Acquires Assets of Consolidated Waste Services (Twin Bridges)

Casella Waste Systems, Inc. signed an asset purchase agreement to acquire the assets of Consolidated Waste Services, LLC (dba Twin Bridges) for approximately $219 million in cash. The deal includes two collection operations, a transfer station, a materials recovery facility (MRF) and other properties, and is expected to generate about $70 million of annualized revenue and close by Q4 2023.

The acquisitions are intended to densify Casella's Mid-Atlantic footprint and are expected to contribute to over $100 million of total annualized revenues from the two businesses.

Interstate Waste Services Acquires North Atlantic Waste & Recycling

TerraCycle US Acquires Complete Recycling Solutions

Trenton, New Jersey–based TerraCycle US has acquired Complete Recycling Solutions (CRS), a 21-year-old e-scrap and universal-waste processor based in Fall River, Massachusetts. The purchase adds CRS’s lamp recycling and mercury-distillation capabilities to TerraCycle’s Regulated Waste division and will keep CRS led by its former owner and co‑founder, Keith Boyea.
