MedHQ, a Chicago-area provider of technology-enabled services to outpatient healthcare providers, has acquired Avanza Healthcare Strategies, an Austin-based outpatient advisory firm. The acquisition will expand MedHQ's advisory capabilities for ambulatory surgery centers and other outpatient initiatives and Avanza will continue to operate independently.
