The add-on expands MEI's footprint in New England and the Southeast and broadens its service capabilities in rigging, machinery moving and storage.

MEI operates 12 regional offices across the United States and serves end markets including datacenters, semiconductors and electric vehicles; Olympus said the acquisition will support MEI's next phase of national platform growth.

Keith Harnum, the third-generation owner, selected MEI as the buyer and will remain leading Harnum’s day-to-day operations under MEI ownership.
