MicroPort Scientific Acquires Hemovent GmbH

MicroPort Scientific Corporation, through its critical care subsidiary MicroPort Surgical B.V., acquired 100% of Hemovent GmbH from its existing shareholders for up to €123 million in cash. Hemovent will become a wholly owned subsidiary of MicroPort, with completion expected in Q4 2021 following regulatory approvals.

The deal includes the Neox and Clarix product lines, a nationwide commercial sales organization and assigned GPO contracts, expanding BioStem's access into hospital inpatient and outpatient wound-care markets and adding assets that generated roughly $29 million in 2025.
