Microsoft Acquires Fungible Inc.

Microsoft has acquired Fungible Inc., a provider of composable datacenter infrastructure and data processing units (DPUs), to accelerate innovation in its datacenter infrastructure and Azure offerings. The Fungible engineering team will join Microsoft's datacenter infrastructure groups to advance DPU solutions, networking and storage offload capabilities, and overall datacenter efficiency.
