MiddleGround Capital's European office has completed its first platform acquisition with the purchase of Xtrac, a leading manufacturer of high-performance transmissions for motorsport and specialist automotive applications. The deal gives MiddleGround a platform in the UK manufacturing space to support Xtrac's growth across motorsport, high-performance automotive and OEM markets, and to accelerate capabilities for hybrid and electric drivetrains.
