Midwest Products & Engineering (MPE-INC), a Milwaukee-based design and contract manufacturer of medical devices, has acquired MindFlow Design, a Carlsbad, California medical product design firm. The acquisition brings MindFlow's concept-to-manufacture-ready design capabilities into MPE's vertically integrated "Concept to Completion" model to expand MPE's design solutions and accelerate OEM product commercialization.

IDEX Corporation has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Flow Management Devices, LLC (Flow MD) for $125 million in cash, before closing adjustments. Flow MD, a Phoenix-based maker of small-volume provers used for custody transfer accuracy in the oil and gas industry, has approximately $60 million in annual sales and will join IDEX's energy group.
