Right Traffic has acquired P.D. Brooks Traffic Control, a Mechanicsville, Virginia-based provider of full-service traffic control, barricading and traffic planning services. Right Traffic will integrate its Guardian SmartFlagger technology and begin training/deployment across P.D. Brooks' operations as part of the company's continued mid-Atlantic expansion; Marriott & Co. served as exclusive financial advisor to P.D. Brooks.

Investcorp and Trilantic North America Acquire RoadSafe Traffic Systems from ORIX Capital Partners

Investcorp and Trilantic North America agreed to acquire RoadSafe Traffic Systems from ORIX Capital Partners; terms were not disclosed. RoadSafe, headquartered in Chicago, IL, is the U.S.'s largest provider of traffic control and pavement marking services with more than 50 locations and over 1,600 employees; management, led by CEO Dave Meirick, will remain in place and the new owners plan to pursue geographic expansion and strategic add-on acquisitions.

America's Group Acquires Richmond Auto Auction

America's Group (America's Auto Auction) has acquired Motley's Richmond Auto Auction in Richmond, Virginia, expanding its coast-to-coast footprint to 41 auction locations. The seller, Mark Motley and his family, agreed to the sale after 34 years of ownership; the Richmond site will augment America's Group's dealer, fleet and government remarketing capabilities.

RoadSafe Traffic Systems Acquires Site-Safe Products and Innovative Access Solutions

RoadSafe Traffic Systems, Inc. acquired Site-Safe Products, LLC and its wholly owned subsidiary Innovative Access Solutions, LLC to expand its work zone safety product and service offerings across the Southern and Midwestern United States. The deals broaden RoadSafe’s traffic control footprint in those regions and mark the company’s 14th and 15th acquisitions since partnering with private equity firms Investcorp and Trilantic North America in 2021.

Right Traffic Acquires W.D. Wright

Right Traffic, a North American traffic control operator, has acquired W.D. Wright, a Beaver, Pennsylvania–based traffic control company. The deal expands Right Traffic’s geographic footprint across the Midwest, Mid‑Atlantic, the Carolinas and Florida and is intended to accelerate the buyer’s technology-driven traffic control capabilities; on a combined basis the company says it will now have more than 3,000 employees serving 10 U.S. states and three Canadian provinces.

The Universal Group (CAI Portfolio) Acquires Advanced Traffic Control (Auburn, WA)

The Universal Group, a CAI Capital Partners portfolio company, has acquired Advanced Traffic Control (ATC), a traffic control services provider based in Auburn, Washington. CAI and co-investors BDC Capital, Roynat Equity Partners and Frind Enterprises backed the transaction as equity co-investors; debt financing was provided by Bank of Montreal, CIBC and Scotiabank. This marks Universal's first U.S. acquisition as part of a contiguous Pacific Northwest expansion, and ATC's founders will remain in leadership and as shareholders.
