Valesco, a Dallas-based private equity firm, completed a majority buyout of Blower Application, LLC (BloApCo), a Germantown, Wisconsin manufacturer of solid waste and scrap handling systems, on February 20, 2024. The investment — Valesco’s first platform investment from Fund III — will partner with existing management to support growth, aftermarket expansion and continuity following the previous ownership group's exit.

Valesco Industries, a Dallas-based private equity firm, acquired North American Kitchen Solutions, Inc. (dba Hoodmart), a factory-direct manufacturer of commercial kitchen ventilation and fire suppression systems headquartered in Elyria, Ohio. The transaction represents Weinberg Capital Group's exit after owning Hoodmart since 2016, during which the company nearly tripled sales and was positioned for continued growth under new PE ownership.

Saatva Merges with Bedding Industries of America

Saatva has entered into a merger with Bedding Industries of America (BIA), bringing BIA’s manufacturing footprint and licensing portfolio under Saatva’s control to create greater end-to-end supply chain ownership. TZP Group will maintain its investment in Saatva; financial terms were not disclosed. Brookside Capital Partners provided subordinated debt and an equity co-investment alongside the selling shareholders, with Comerica Bank as senior lender; the transaction will support growth, new machinery investments and geographic expansion.
