Flex Acquires Crown Technical Systems

Flex (NASDAQ: FLEX) completed its $325 million all-cash acquisition of Crown Technical Systems, a designer and manufacturer of power distribution and protection systems. The deal expands Flex’s critical power portfolio into utility power and modular data center markets and adds an expected ~$120 million revenue business to its Industrial Business unit.

The acquisition is an add-on to ECI's Industrial Tech platform to expand its capabilities and presence in commercial LED, smart lighting controls, and IoT end markets, with Flex-Tec continuing to operate under its current management from Byromville and a manufacturing facility in Monterrey, Mexico.
