ID Logistics Acquires Spedimex (Poland)

ID Logistics has completed the acquisition of 100% of Polish contract logistics provider Spedimex. The deal was paid €23.5m in cash and €53.9m in new ID Logistics shares (giving Spedimex's former main shareholder Marcin Bąk a 3.2% stake); the transaction expands ID Logistics' presence in Poland (Spedimex operates 15 sites / 230,000 m² and reported PLN 510m revenue in 2022) and makes ID Logistics a market leader in the country.

Kane, a Scranton-based 3PL with $235 million of 2021 revenue and 20 U.S. hubs, will expand ID Logistics' U.S. footprint (pro‑forma US revenues $350 million) and the transaction was announced/closed in early 2022 (enterprise value reported at $240 million, all-cash).

E2open Parent Holdings, Inc. acquired Logistyx Technologies, a cloud-based global multi-carrier parcel and e-commerce shipping software provider, for a total purchase price of $185 million. The acquisition (previous owners Kidd & Company and Firmament exited) expands E2open’s parcel management and e-commerce fulfillment capabilities and is expected to accelerate subscription revenue growth and cross-selling to enterprise clients.

DHL Supply Chain Acquires IDS Fulfillment

DHL Supply Chain, a unit of Deutsche Post, has acquired Indiana-based IDS Fulfillment to expand its U.S. warehousing and fulfillment network for small and midsize e-commerce customers. The deal (terms undisclosed) brings roughly 1.3 million square feet of warehouse and distribution space across three states and was agreed before recent tariff changes.

Nippon Express Co., Ltd., via its U.S. subsidiary Nippon Express USA, Inc., completed the acquisition of all equity interests in MD Logistics, LLC and MD Express, LLC, making the businesses subsidiaries. MD Logistics is a U.S.-based third-party logistics provider (founded 1996) specializing in pharmaceutical cold-chain warehousing and distribution, with multiple facilities in Indiana and a site in Reno, Nevada and reported roughly $51M revenue for 2019.
