Brookside Capital Partners provided subordinated debt and an equity co-investment to facilitate the transaction, which will provide capital and resources to support Signal Control's next phase of growth and capability expansion.

Summit Fire & Security LLC, a subsidiary of SFP Holding, Inc. (Summit Companies), acquired Signal Systems, Inc., a Duluth, Georgia-based fire and security systems provider, effective August 28, 2024. The deal expands Summit Fire & Security's service footprint and product offerings across Georgia, adding the Signal Systems team to Summit's Atlanta (Duluth) branch and broadening capabilities such as fire sprinklers, alarm monitoring, CCTV, access control and special hazard systems.

Lumin8 Transportation Technologies, a portfolio company of Crest Rock Partners, has acquired the Traffic Signal division of Watson Electrical Construction Co. LLC in an asset divestiture. The deal — executed as an add-on to Lumin8's platform — expands Lumin8's ITS and traffic-signal capabilities and more than doubles its presence in North Carolina, creating a combined organization of over 450 employees serving government agencies and contractors.

RoadSafe Traffic Systems Acquires B.C. Cannon Co., Inc

RoadSafe Traffic Systems, a PE-backed infrastructure safety services platform, has acquired B.C. Cannon Co., Inc., a Greenville, South Carolina-based traffic control and road striping services provider. The deal is RoadSafe's 12th acquisition since partnering with private equity firms Investcorp and Trilantic North America in 2021 and expands RoadSafe's operations across the Carolinas.
