NXTsoft, a Birmingham-based provider of secure data-centric and SaaS solutions, has acquired Orlando-based CCMC, Inc., a provider of core API and data-integration solutions for financial institutions. The acquisition expands NXTsoft's secure connectivity and API capabilities, adds recurring high-margin revenue and more than 1,000 financial-institution customers; CCMC founder Gene Lederer will remain CEO of the CCMC business.

Sequoia Financial Group Acquires Carlson Capital Management

Sequoia Financial Group, an Akron-based SEC-registered wealth manager with $22.6 billion AUM, has acquired Carlson Capital Management (CCM), a Northfield, Minnesota investment advisory firm with $3.8 billion in client assets. The deal (completed March 31, 2025) adds CCM’s tax planning capabilities, expands Sequoia’s national footprint to 34 offices across 19 states, and brings CCM’s ~80 employees into Sequoia’s platform.

CCMP Capital to Acquire BGIS from Brookfield Business Partners

Cold Chain Technologies Acquires Global Cold Chain Solutions

Cold Chain Technologies (CCT) has acquired Global Cold Chain Solutions (GCCS), a provider of passive thermal packaging and related services with manufacturing sites across Australia and India; terms were not disclosed. The acquisition expands CCT's Asia Pacific presence and manufacturing capabilities in support of life sciences and pharmaceutical customers and is CCT's fifth add-on since partnering with Aurora Capital Partners.

SITA Acquires CCM

SITA has completed the acquisition of CCM, a Milan-based designer and manufacturer of airport interiors, to combine SITA's passenger-processing technology with CCM's high-end design and production capabilities. The deal is intended to deliver an end-to-end "technology by design" offering for airports, optimizing terminal space and passenger flows; Monica Oberti was named interim CEO of CCM.
