Global Care Capital Inc. entered into a share exchange agreement to acquire all issued and outstanding securities of CCM Technologies Inc., a cryptocurrency mining and blockchain infrastructure company. Global Care will issue common shares and warrants as consideration; closing was subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals and intended to provide Global Care shareholders exposure to cryptocurrency mining infrastructure.

The deal (completed March 31, 2025) adds CCM’s tax planning capabilities, expands Sequoia’s national footprint to 34 offices across 19 states, and brings CCM’s ~80 employees into Sequoia’s platform.

The deal is intended to deliver an end-to-end "technology by design" offering for airports, optimizing terminal space and passenger flows; Monica Oberti was named interim CEO of CCM.
