Solenis, a Wilmington, Delaware-based specialty chemicals producer owned by Platinum Equity, acquired CedarChem LLC and its operating assets on October 2, 2023. CedarChem, headquartered in Cedartown, Georgia, supplies water and wastewater treatment products to industrial and municipal customers in the southeastern United States; the deal expands Solenis' product and service capabilities and regional go-to-market presence.

Saur Group Acquires Aqua-Chem

France-based Saur Group, an EQT‑backed environmental services company, has acquired Knoxville, Tennessee‑headquartered Aqua‑Chem. Aqua‑Chem will become the North American platform and the water purification global center of excellence for Nijhuis Saur Industries (NSI), expanding Saur's process water and purification capabilities across pharmaceuticals, beverage, energy and military end markets.

Gen Cap America Acquires Aquasol Corporation

Nashville-based private equity firm Gen Cap America, Inc. has acquired Aquasol Corporation, a New York–based manufacturer of water‑soluble paper and welding consumables. Aquasol, founded in 2003, supplies pipe‑purging technologies and specialty consumables to industrial end markets worldwide and has distribution in over 90 countries.

Solvias Acquires Chemic Laboratories to Establish U.S. Laboratory Presence

Solvias has acquired Canton, Massachusetts-based Chemic Laboratories, Inc., giving the Swiss analytical testing and contract research company a U.S. foothold and complementary laboratory testing capabilities. Azelis Acquires Solchem Nature S.L. to Strengthen Nutraceutical Offering in Spain
