Simpson Manufacturing Acquires ETANCO Group

Simpson Manufacturing Co., Inc. completed the acquisition of the ETANCO Group, a European designer and manufacturer of fixing and fastening solutions, for €725 million (approximately $800 million). The deal expands Simpson's product portfolio and European footprint; ETANCO reported ~€258 million in net sales for the 12 months ending Sept. 30, 2021 and high operating margins.

Siparex ETI Acquires Majority Stake in Sintex NP (European Subsidiary of Sintex Group)

Siparex ETI, with co-investors Carvest, BNP Paribas Développement, AfricInvest and Desjardins Capital, signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Sintex NP, the European arm of India's Sintex Group. Sintex NP is a leading European processor of polymers, composites and precision metal engineering with ~2,800 employees and €275m in sales (2018); the investment will support accelerated growth via acquisitions and international expansion, particularly into North America.

EagleTree Capital, on behalf of its fund EagleTree Partners V, has acquired Andronaco Industries, a vertically integrated designer, manufacturer, and distributor of corrosion-resistant polymer and composite flow control products. Andronaco's management will remain in place; EagleTree plans to support organic and inorganic growth, accelerate product development, and expand the company's geographic and end-market reach. Terms were not disclosed.
