Genetic Technologies Acquires AffinityDNA Direct-to-Consumer Business

Genetic Technologies Limited (GENE) completed the acquisition of the direct-to-consumer eCommerce business and distribution rights of AffinityDNA, including websites, brand identities, laboratory testing and distribution agreements. The deal expands GENE’s direct-to-consumer channel and product portfolio across the US, UK and Europe, adding AffinityDNA’s consumer and pet genomics offerings to GENE’s geneType and EasyDNA brands.

Fulgent Genetics Acquires Fulgent Pharma

The deal integrates Fulgent Pharma’s nanoencapsulation drug-delivery platform and clinical-stage oncology pipeline with Fulgent Genetics’ diagnostics capabilities to create a vertically integrated precision-medicine offering focused on cancer.

Inotiv Acquires Integrated Laboratory Systems (ILS)

Inotiv, Inc. (NASDAQ: NOTV) completed the acquisition of Integrated Laboratory Systems, LLC (ILS), a contract research organization based in Morrisville, North Carolina, from Sier Capital. The transaction consideration totaled $56.0 million (approximately $38.0 million cash and 429,118 Inotiv shares valued at $18.0 million); ILS reported roughly $20.0 million of revenue in 2021 and will be integrated to expand Inotiv's genetic toxicology, in vivo/in vitro toxicology, pathology, genomics, and computational toxicology capabilities.

Kindbody Acquires Phosphorus Labs

Kindbody has acquired Phosphorus Labs, a preventative genomics and clinical genetic-testing company, including Phosphorus’s 8,000 sq. ft. reference laboratory in Secaucus, New Jersey. The acquisition brings genetic testing and carrier screening capabilities in-house as Kindbody creates its KindLabs division to integrate diagnostics into its end-to-end fertility and family-building care.

Pro-ficiency Acquires Fugitive Labs
