Lightspeed Commerce Acquires Ecwid

Lightspeed Commerce Inc. completed the acquisition of Ecwid, a global eCommerce platform, for approximately $163.6 million in cash (net of cash acquired) plus the issuance of 4,842,674 subordinate voting shares and additional contingent consideration. The deal will integrate Ecwid's SaaS storefront and social-commerce capabilities into Lightspeed's commerce platform to expand omnichannel selling options for merchants.
