Open Road Capital and Dealer Investors Acquire Beyer Automotive Group Dealerships

Beyer Automotive Group, a Virginia-based dealer group that retails over 7,000 vehicles and generates ~ $400 million in annual revenue, was sold in two transactions advised by Haig Partners. Open Road Capital (backed by Bain Capital) acquired the Northern Virginia dealerships on October 10, 2024, while dealer investors Jim Keffer and Jon Alcorn purchased the Winchester dealerships (now operating as Dogwood Automotive Group) in a separate closing on August 30, 2024.

(NASDAQ: LMPX) has closed the acquisition of Bachman-Bernard Chevrolet-Buick-GMC-Cadillac and the associated real estate located at 3365 E Andrew Johnson Hwy in Greeneville, Tennessee. The deal, which includes Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac franchises, is part of LMP's Stage One consolidation plan to expand its dealership network and expected EBITDA contribution.

John Elway and Mitch Pierce Acquire Multiple Denver Dealerships from Lithia Motors

Pinnacle Mergers & Acquisitions represented Lithia Motors in a late-2022 transaction selling a group of Denver automotive franchises to local operators John Elway and Mitch Pierce. The portfolio included luxury and specialty franchises now operating as Bentley Denver, Lotus Denver, KARMA Denver, Pininfarina Denver and SSC North America (Ferrari Denver was referenced in the announcement). The deal was part of Lithia's portfolio transactions facilitated by Pinnacle.
