Rimkus Consulting Group, Inc. has acquired M & E Engineering Consultants, an Ontario-based mechanical, electrical, and life-safety consulting engineering firm, to deepen its MEP and life-safety capabilities and expand its bench of experts in Canada. Following the acquisition Rimkus reports a global footprint of more than 90 offices and approximately 950 employees, positioning the combined organization to better serve international clients across commercial, institutional and multi-residential markets.

The acquisition is a bolt-on to Legence’s platform to expand its service, maintenance and fabrication capabilities and broaden its regional footprint.
