Destination Pet Acquires Pet Palace Pet Boarding Resort

Destination Pet has acquired Pet Palace Pet Boarding Resort, a luxury pet care operator with 11 locations across Ohio, Indiana, North Carolina and Pennsylvania and more than 500 employees. The acquisition expands Destination Pet’s national pet resort and clinic network, adds a luxury resort brand, and enables wider rollout of Destination Pet’s connected care model and Yourgi app; Pet Palace founder Brian Hudock will remain as a strategic advisor.

The deal expands Destination Pet's footprint into the Phoenix market and adds specialty retail, grooming, boarding and other pet services to its integrated veterinary and pet-care platform.

Peakstone served as exclusive M&A advisor to Paws Pet Resort; terms were not disclosed. The deal is an add-on to Best Friends Pet Care's platform to expand its pet care footprint and service offering.

Destination Pet Acquires Roscoe's Bed + Bark

Madison Street Capital advised Roscoe's Bed + Bark on the undisclosed transaction as Roscoe's joins Destination Pet's nationwide network to expand its pet care footprint.

VetCor Acquires People, Pets & Vets

VetCor, a PE-backed operator of veterinary practices (portfolio company of funds managed by Harvest Partners and Cressey & Company), has acquired People, Pets & Vets (PPV), a veterinarian-led network of more than 150 animal hospitals across the western and southern United States. The deal expands VetCor's national footprint and combines two multi-location veterinary operators to broaden clinical resources, support services and career opportunities for veterinary teams.
