Freeman Spogli & Co. has partnered with WhiteWater Express Car Wash, acquiring a stake in the Houston-based express car wash platform; terms were not disclosed. WhiteWater’s founders (Steve Mathis, Clayton Clark, Shane Wilson) and investor SkyKnight Capital will remain significant investors and the existing management team will continue to lead as the company pursues further multi-regional expansion and densification of markets.

Farragut Capital Partners Provides Growth Capital to Clean Water Environmental

Farragut Capital Partners provided unitranche debt to Clean Water Environmental, LLC (CWE), an Ohio-based processor of hazardous and non-hazardous wastewater that operates facilities in Dayton and Mansfield, Ohio. The financing refinanced the balance sheet and supplies growth capital to fund a new biological treatment plant at CWE's Dayton location and expand overall capacity; CWE is a portfolio company of Hunting Dog Capital and is led by CEO John Staton.

The acquisition follows FreshPure’s October 2023 purchase of Arctic Mountain and further grows FreshPure’s presence (now in 43 states).
