B. Riley Financial has acquired certain assets of ABTV (formerly Anderson Bauman Tourtellot Vos), a Charlotte-based restructuring and financial advisory firm. Senior restructuring advisors Ed Sanz and P. Michael Kain have joined B. Riley Advisory Services and the former ABTV headquarters will be re-established as a B. Riley office in Charlotte; financial terms were not disclosed.

B. Riley Principal Investments Acquires Targus

B. Riley Principal Investments, an affiliate of B. Riley Financial, has acquired Targus (Targus Cayman HoldCo Limited), a global designer and maker of laptop/tablet cases, backpacks, docking stations and computer accessories, in a transaction valued at approximately $250 million enterprise value. The deal, which includes bank financing and seller financing, positions Targus as a portfolio company of B. Riley Principal Investments while Targus CEO Mikel Williams continues to lead the business from its Anaheim, California headquarters.

B. Riley Financial to Acquire National Holdings

B. Riley Financial has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire National Holdings Corporation, initiating an all-cash tender offer for the remaining shares it does not own at $3.25 per share. The deal will combine B. Riley's diversified financial services platform with National's investment banking, brokerage and wealth management businesses, materially expanding B. Riley's retail distribution and assets under management.

GLASfunds Acquires Fund Formation Group

GLASfunds, a turnkey alternative investment platform based in Cleveland, has acquired Fund Formation Group, a Texas-based firm that launches and operates fund structures for RIAs and wealth advisors. As part of the deal, FFG founder Thomas Haynes will join GLASfunds as Director of Business Development and GLASfunds will service FFG clients while expanding its presence in the Dallas area.
