Alliance Ground International (AGI) has acquired Airport Terminal Services (ATS), adding 49 locations across the United States and Canada and marking AGI's first entry into passenger/terminal operations. ATS, founded in 1975 and based in St. Louis, Missouri, has more than 5,500 employees and provides full-range ground handling, cargo handling, refuelling, de-icing and lounge/concierge services.

Alliance Ground International (AGI) has acquired MIC Cargo (Maestro), a Chicago-based air cargo and ground handling operator at Chicago O'Hare (ORD). The deal expands AGI's warehouse footprint and aircraft parking capacity at ORD — including Maestro's WHO‑GDP certified cold‑chain pharmaceutical capabilities — as AGI grows its North American air cargo and below‑the‑wing services.

AviAlliance Acquires AGS Airports from Macquarie and Ferrovial

AviAlliance has agreed to acquire AGS Airports from Macquarie Asset Management (via Macquarie European Infrastructure Fund 4) and Ferrovial for an enterprise value of approximately £1.53 billion. The transaction transfers ownership of the airports serving Aberdeen, Glasgow and Southampton, and is expected to reach financial close by Q1 2025 subject to customary conditions and regulatory approvals.

DC Capital Partners Acquires Aeronautical & General Instruments Limited from Trident Maritime Systems

DC Capital Partners has acquired Aeronautical & General Instruments Limited (AGI), a UK-based provider of integrated maritime technologies and systems, from Trident Maritime Systems (a portfolio company of investment affiliates of J.F. Lehman & Company). The transaction will spin AGI out to operate independently under DC Capital, which plans strategic investments in technology, engineering talent and infrastructure to expand AGI’s capabilities and global reach in support of naval and maritime customers.

Blackstone Infrastructure Acquires 22% Minority Stake in AGS Airports

Blackstone's infrastructure strategy for individual investors agreed to acquire a 22% minority stake in AGS Airports from AviAlliance for £235 million to support continued growth of UK travel and tourism. AviAlliance remains the majority shareholder with a 78% stake; the investment is intended to fund capital improvements and traffic growth across AGS's three UK airports (Glasgow, Aberdeen and Southampton).

An affiliate of Sun Capital Partners has completed the acquisition of Total Transportation Services (TTSI), a leading U.S. drayage and intermodal transportation provider headquartered in Rancho Dominguez, California. Sun Capital said it will support TTSI’s growth and pursue consolidation in the highly fragmented drayage market while professionalizing operations and accelerating M&A activity.
