Washington Equity Partners Leads Majority Recapitalization of Tube Bending, Inc.

Washington Equity Partners has made a majority investment in Tube Bending, Inc., a California-based manufacturer and fabricator of tubing and tubing assemblies serving aerospace, defense, medical and industrial markets. Plexus Capital and SharpVue Capital provided supporting debt and equity financing; Tube Bending’s president, Bryan Christoffersen, retains a significant ownership stake and will continue to run day-to-day operations. The recapitalization positions Tube Bending to grow organically and via acquisitions as a market-leading tubing platform for aerospace and defense.

Tube Bending Technology Acquires Scarrott Metallurgical Company

Washington Equity Partners’ portfolio company Tube Bending Technology has acquired Scarrott Metallurgical Company, a Los Angeles-based vacuum brazing and heat-treating specialist serving aerospace, defense and space customers. The add-on expands Tube Bending’s vertically integrated manufacturing capabilities (AS9100 and NADCAP certified) and enables greater in‑house production of tube and duct assemblies.

Cogenuity Partners Acquires Tech Tube and Tube Methods

Cogenuity Partners acquired Tech Tube, Inc. and Tube Methods, Inc., two Pennsylvania-based manufacturers of small-diameter metallic tubing serving aerospace & defense, medical, power generation and industrial end markets. Cogenuity will partner with existing management (Brian and Kevin Johnson retain substantial ownership) and deploy its Collaborative Operations program and capital to accelerate growth.

Lion Equity Partners Acquires Custom Tube Products, Inc.

Lion Equity Partners, a Denver-based private equity firm, has acquired Custom Tube Products (CTP), an Edgewater, Florida manufacturer of precision metal tubing assemblies. The deal will fold CTP into Lion Equity's existing platform Elkhart Tri-Went Industrial (ETI) as an add-on to expand ETI's production footprint and add CNC tube bending, end forming, and brazing capabilities for aerospace, medical, and industrial OEM customers.
