Component Sourcing International (CSI), an Argosy Private Equity portfolio company, acquired AMIC Global, Inc., a Buffalo Grove, Illinois-based contract metal components manufacturer and e‑commerce business (Earth's Natural Alternative). The transaction is CSI’s fourth add-on under Argosy's ownership and is intended to expand CSI’s supply‑chain-as-a-service capabilities, add new customers and suppliers, and broaden end‑market exposure in heavy equipment, RV/marine and lawn & garden.

THL Partners Acquires Majority Stake in AMI

THL Partners has agreed to acquire a majority stake in AMI from HGGC in a private transaction expected to close in fall/Q4 2024. AMI, headquartered in Duluth, Georgia, is a global leader in dynamic firmware used across data centers and cloud platforms and employs over 1,500 engineers; THL says the investment will accelerate product innovation and market expansion to address growing AI and hyperscale infrastructure demand.

Colorado Mechanical Systems Acquires AMI Mechanical Systems

Colorado Mechanical Systems (CMS), a Centennial, Colorado-based commercial and industrial HVAC, plumbing and building controls provider, has acquired AMI Mechanical Systems of Thornton, Colorado. The acquisition expands CMS's service footprint in the Mountain West and strengthens its position in core end markets including healthcare, education, municipal, senior living and industrial customers; AMI founders Manuel Gonzales and Paula Wiley will transition out and AMI's construction arm will continue operations post-close.

MidOcean Partners Acquires SI Solutions

MidOcean Partners, a New York-based private equity firm, has acquired SI Solutions, a provider of engineering, testing, inspection, compliance, maintenance and digital solutions for power and critical infrastructure. SI Solutions (more than 450 employees) will remain led by CEO Mark Marano; management, employee shareholders and prior investor Jumana Capital have reinvested in the business. Terms were not disclosed.

NMI Acquires IRIS CRM

NMI, a full commerce enablement and payment platform, has acquired IRIS CRM, a merchant-services-focused CRM and merchant management platform headquartered in Brooklyn, New York. The acquisition expands NMI’s capabilities beyond gateway services to include merchant prospecting, onboarding, portfolio reporting and residual income calculations; terms were not disclosed and IRIS CRM’s president Dimitri Akhrin will remain with the combined organization.

Coral Tree Partners Acquires AMI Entertainment Network from The Gores Group
