SEAM Group, a PE-backed energized-asset performance platform, has acquired Electrical Engineering & Service, Co. (EESCO), a NETA-accredited electrical power systems testing, commissioning, and maintenance provider headquartered in Holbrook, Massachusetts. The add-on expands SEAM Group's NETA-certified testing and medium-/high-voltage preventive maintenance capabilities across New England and broadens its service offering for switchgear, transformers, protective relays, and related electrical distribution equipment.

ABB Acquires Lumin to Expand Residential Energy Management in North America

nVent Completes Acquisition of Avail Infrastructure Solutions' Electrical Products Group

nVent Electric plc completed the acquisition of the enclosures, switchgear and bus systems businesses (the "Electrical Products Group") of Avail Infrastructure Solutions for $975 million in cash. The business — a North American provider serving power utilities, data centers and renewables with ~1,100 employees and nine U.S. manufacturing locations — will be operated predominantly within nVent's Systems Protection segment to strengthen its infrastructure offerings.
