Industrial Opportunity Partners Acquires PolyVision from Steelcase

Industrial Opportunity Partners (IOP), an Evanston, Illinois-based private equity firm, acquired PolyVision Corporation — formerly a subsidiary of Steelcase — in a carve-out transaction; terms were not disclosed. PolyVision, headquartered in Johns Creek, Georgia, manufactures CeramicSteel writing surfaces and architectural cladding for education, healthcare, commercial office and transit end-markets; IOP said it will partner with existing management (Peter Lewchanin to remain CEO) to grow the business.
