Pacific Shoring Products has acquired Pasadena, Texas-based Xterra Trench Shields to expand its trench safety product offering to include a full line of both steel and aluminum safety products. The transaction is an add-on to Pacific Shoring (a PE-backed platform) and is intended to broaden capabilities and accelerate growth across the combined company's national footprint.

The deal includes Prospan's patents and trademarks, and Prospan's president and product inventor, James (Jim) Sullivan, will join Pacific Shoring as Safety and Rescue Product Manager to support product and capability expansion.
