Premier Radiology Services Acquires NationalRad (Specialists in Diagnostic Imaging)

Premier Radiology Services, a private equity-backed teleradiology provider, has acquired Specialists in Diagnostic Imaging (d/b/a NationalRad), a Deerfield Beach, Florida-based subspecialty teleradiology group. The acquisition expands Premier's subspecialty capabilities and clinical capacity for outpatient imaging centers, orthopedic practices, university healthcare systems and other customers; financial terms were not disclosed.

ONRAD Acquires Direct Radiology from Royal Philips

ONRAD Inc., a teleradiology services provider backed by Housatonic Partners, has acquired Direct Radiology from Royal Philips. The deal combines Direct Radiology's ~80 radiologists and 430+ facility relationships with ONRAD's existing platform to create the largest independent teleradiology provider in the United States; Direct Radiology will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of ONRAD.
