Natura Resources Acquires Shepherd Power; NOV Becomes Strategic Partner and Investor

Natura Resources has acquired Shepherd Power from NOV Inc., adding Shepherd's regulatory, licensing, and reactor deployment expertise to accelerate commercialization of Natura's molten-salt small modular reactor (MSR) technology. NOV will partner with Natura on manufacturing and project execution, invest in Natura and appoint a board representative to support delivery of gigawatts of SMRs for data center and industrial customers in the early 2030s.
