Agro Care Growers Acquires Majority Stake in Nordic Greens

Agro Care Growers has acquired a majority stake in Danish greenhouse vegetable grower Nordic Greens, with founder Mads Pedersen retaining a minority stake and continuing as CEO. The deal (excluding Nordic Greens Salat and part of the Danish cucumber cultivation) expands Agro Care's European footprint and secures supply for the Scandinavian market; completion is subject to competition authority approval.

NPM Capital Takes Minority Stake in NTS Group

NPM Capital is acquiring a minority stake in NTS Group to support the Eindhoven-based supplier of complex (opto)mechatronic systems in accelerating its international growth and expanding production capacity across Europe, Asia and North America. The deal, which will help NTS scale for semiconductor and analytical OEM customers, is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close in the first half of 2025.

Agro Care and CombiVliet Merge to Create Dutch Tomato Leader

Agro Care (an NPM Capital–backed grower) and fellow Dutch tomato grower CombiVliet have merged and will operate under the name Agro Care, combining nearly 500 hectares of greenhouse production with ambitions to reach 1,000 hectares in the Netherlands and internationally. The deal aims to drive efficiency and sustainability through shared staff services, joint purchasing and a common headquarters; Kees van Veen will be CEO of the combined business while Roy van Vliet and Philip van Antwerpen will lead Dutch and Tunisian operations respectively.

Dutch investment firm NPM Capital has acquired majority stakes in Greenspread (Woudenberg) and Solaris Industria (Utrecht), two developers and operators of solar PV and sustainable energy projects. The businesses will be integrated with NPM's existing rooftop platform Rooftop Energy to accelerate scale-up of large solar installations in the Netherlands; investor Ivo Priem (via Livermore TC) will sell his stake in Greenspread.
