Ecolab Acquires CoolIT Systems for $4.75 Billion

Ecolab agreed to acquire Calgary-based liquid cooling technology provider CoolIT Systems for about US$4.75 billion in cash. The deal expands Ecolab’s Global High-Tech growth engine and strengthens its Cooling-as-a-Service offering for AI data centers by combining CoolIT’s direct-to-chip liquid cooling with Ecolab’s water, chemistry, and digital services expertise.

Solo Brands Acquires IcyBreeze Cooling

The deal closed on July 1, 2023 and brings IcyBreeze’s D2C portable cooling products into Solo Brands’ outdoor lifestyle portfolio to expand its product capabilities and distribution reach.

Due North Acquires MTL COOL

The acquisition expands Due North's product portfolio and consolidates refrigerated retail display capabilities across grocery, convenience and food & beverage customers; MTL COOL reported C$30 million in fiscal 2022 revenue.

O2C Brands Acquires EcoVessel and U-Konserve

The deal expands O2C’s sustainable drinkware and food-storage offerings and will leverage the company’s retail relationships and multinational supply chain; O2C Brands is owned by Chicago-based private equity firm Middleton Partners.

Lunchbox Acquires NovaDine

WellBiz Brands Acquires LunchboxWax
