ELTA North America Acquires Chemring Sensors & Electronic Systems' Explosive Hazard Detection Business

ELTA North America (ENA) has purchased the Explosive Hazard Detection line of business from Chemring Sensors and Electronic Systems (CSES), acquiring products including the Husky Mounted Detection System (HMDS) and the MDS-10 handheld mine detector. ENA said it will integrate the technologies into a new Combat Engineering Center of Excellence to strengthen its counter-IED, route- and area-clearance capabilities and support the U.S. Army Program of Record.
